The HOLT firm designed many of the buildings on the ithaca college campus. We kept inviting them back not only because they are excellent designers, but equally important because they are superb listeners. By that I mean, on the front end of the process, which in many ways is the most important part, they listened when we told them what we wanted the building to do for us. They then took that information and applied the design process around it and we always ended up with enduring architecture that was the epitome of form and function.
